More than a dozen artists are coming together for one evening to share personal stories from the heart through spoken word, music and song, dance, mime and visual art. Some adult language and subject matter. Suggested $10 donation at door goes directly to paying the performing artists, event free and open to the public, sponsored by the Port Townsend Arts Commission. Port Townsend’s BluJay Kombucha will be there selling its delicious brew.

The pulchritudinous ladies of Port Townsend

Anyone who has seen the Netflix comedy “GLOW” knows the acronym stands for the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling. I wanted to make the tagline my own after my friends and I hit the Port Townsend Halloween scene last night dressed as those characters. I was pretty excited when the ol’ thesaurus spat out the word “pulchritudinous.” Synonyms for pulchritudinous include: Bewitching, classy, fascinating, resplendent and well-formed.
